PAPANICOLAOU SMEAR (UTERINE CYTOLOGIC EXAMINATION)

"Every hospital agency...shall offer a uterine cytologic examination for cancer to every female inpatient eighteen years of age or over unless contrary orders are given by the attending physician or unless the examination has been performed within the preceding year. Any female in-patient may refuse such examination." ORC § 3701.60
