Esthetician“Esthetician” means any person who, for pay, free or otherwise, engages in the practice of Esthetics. ORC § 4713.01 (E) Applicants for an esthetician’s license shall be at least sixteen years of age, of good moral character, have the equivalent of an Ohio public school eighth grade education and have successfully completed at least six hundred hours of instruction in esthetics in a licensed school of cosmetology in this state. Unless an applicant possesses a valid license to practice esthetics issued by another state, an applicant must pass an examination to qualify for an esthetician’s license.
