Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is the treatment of disorders of the human body by application of water.  The Ohio State Medical Board previously licensed this limited branch of medicine.  Hydrotherapy is no longer specifically licensed in Ohio. Presently hydrotherapy is considered the practice of medicine under ORC § 4731.34.
